our province. As part of the only university system in Newfoundland
and Labrador, Grenfell
has the privilege of guiding our youth and
helping them discover the paths that lie before them.
It’s no
surprise then that Grenfell has supported many sports and athletic
events since its
establishment in 1975: the Corner Brook Triathlon,
the Kids of Steel, and the 1999 Canada
Winter Games, just to name a

(DLRAA) supports many community and regional
organizations, events and activities. In
particular, the Airport
Authority was a Platinum Sponsor for the 2006 NL Winter Games hosted
in the Humber Valley, and a Gold Sponsor of the 2004 World Broomball
Championships. The
Airport also recently joined forces with the
Western Destination Marketing Organization
(WDMO) as a Corporate
Partner to strengthen efforts to market the region as a premiere
tourism
